Great Food + Your Ambiance, Delivered: 100 Times Over

To Celebrate Grand Entrance into Social Media, Birmingham Steak-Out Owner to Buy First 100 Fanatics a ½ Lb Cheeseburger

BIRMINGHAM, AL – While Social Media relationships are typically reserved as virtual, Birmingham Steak-Out owner John Brewer wanted to meet his fanatics in-person. To celebrate the brand’s grand entrance into Social Media, Brewer has decided to buy his fans his favorite menu item, the juicy ½ pound cheeseburger.

“Our fans have been fanatical on Facebook – chiming in and cheerleading why they love the brand,” Brewer said. “I figured it would be fun to meet our fans in person and buy them a tasty burger.”

Beginning at 10 a.m. THIS TUESDAY (3.9.10), the first 100 fans who walk in the door at 1717 28th Ave., South, Facebook fan or not, will receive a free 1/2 lb cheeseburger. And, should they want to showcase their fun side by taking a picture for Steak-Out’s How Big Is Your Bite competition, they will get a coupon for another burger on the house.

After tasting the product, fan’s photos will be placed on the growing Facebook Fan Page (www.facebook.com/savorthesizzle).

“With our grand entrance into Social Media, what is obvious is that you can teach an established brand new tricks,” said Donald Harkleroad, Steak-Out’s CEO, who initiated the Social movement last year as a way to connect with his fans on a personalized basis. “This is just the beginning of our fun.”

Steak-Out, a brand known for its quality food delivered to businesses as well as residents, has also announced an aggressive expansion plan, strategically labeling Alabama & Texas as its focus states.

“What we have found through our Social Media interactions is that many of our fans through Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Yelp, etc. come from the great state of Alabama. We have great franchisees, great fans and great opportunity to grow throughout the state,” Harkleroad said.

Steak-Out would like to franchise at least 5 new locations within Alabama & Texas during 2010. During a tough economy, Steak-Out has succeeded in continuing its growth (including breaking into Fort Worth, Texas) over the last year by offering a concept that carries a much lower overhead than typical full service restaurants without sacrificing the quality of food.

Currently operating as a delivery and carryout restaurant, Steak-Out gives diner’s several complete meal menu options delivered to their home or office at a great price point. You can find everything from jaw-dropping steaks to mouth-watering chicken filets, all served with a side salad, a piping hot baked potato, and a fresh-baked roll.

“Just as our customers get to create their customized atmosphere while tasting premium, high quality food, our franchisees also have the ability to serve this level of product without the expensive overhead of a full service restaurant,” Harkleroad said.
